    Hi all, first post here.

Browsed through the posts, couldn’t find anyone interested in robotics and manufacturing engineering. It’s scary to be left out alone in the big wide world!!

Has anyone thought about manufacturing/designing/sourcing robotics related B2B or B2C products, and sell them in Australian market? Anything from ground up, like solar powered automation system or intelligent sensors to do specific tasks?

Would be delighted to know if anyone ever started out on these sectors, and the hardships (import charges, government policies etc) they faced, except the obvious (finance, workers, storage, commercial place etc).

Will look forward to hear from you all. Thanks

    Hi there,

    Welcome to Flying Solo!

Not sure if we have members in your field specifically, but we certainly have people with lots of knowledge in some areas that may be related (importing for example), so if you have any specific questions just fire away in a new thread. You never know who might be able to help.

Thanks for joining us and best of luck finding some like-minded souls. :)

    Hi Dave

It’s highly unlikely that no one in this forum is from engineering background. But seeing 100+ view and no reply is a bit freaky, to be honest.

Hopefully someone will find this post and share. I believe manufacturing is the way to go, and there are market for Australian manufactured products worldwide.
