Im not sure if Im even allowed here as it did ak for business information which I am not yet. I googled some words and this forum came up so far it looks the be most active and helpful one I can find.
Well bit about me and what I plan to do. Im 28 year old Mother of one in Northern WA. I recently started back in the work force not that long ago after a 6-7yr break due to baby etc. I have a small wage coming in now as I work casual roughly anything from 3.5 to 15.5 hrs a week during school hours.
My partner made suggestion I should look into starting a online website as Im half handy at website html etc not the design though lol
I would be looking at starting up a Classified website to cater for Horses (anything equestrian) I know my competitor’s in my state as I currently advertise with them myself.
We have an appointment with an accountant on Monday just thought I would through this out there now see if anyone can give me a rough idea on what Im looking at. I could proved a link to one of the competitors I would go up against so you could get an idea of what Im looking at doing if this would help.

HI, welcome to Flying Solo. There’s loads of information for startups here. Setting up your business properly from the start is the best thing you can do so I am so glad that you have made an appointment with your accountant already – and that’s the best first step.
Yours is a specialised field so that actually limits the competition which is a good thing.
All the best with your new venture.December 8, 2010 at 11:30 am #1047562call your clientsMember

I think you are lucky to have stumbled on this site. I did just that not very long ago myself and I am so glad I did.
There is just copious amounts of information and advise that you will find incredibly helpful. There are experts who are more than happy to offer some brilliant advice and those who can send you off to view some amazing information.
Welcome and I wish you the very best of luck with your new venture. Actually lucky has very little to do with it, you work hard enough for it you’ll get it.December 9, 2010 at 1:35 am #1047563AnonymousGuest
