    Hi everyone,

I joined a few weeks ago and am enjoying the forum and some of the great articles.

I particularly enjoyed the 4 F’s of office organisation and have actually handed it on to a client.

I am an accountant / bookkeeper working from home, helping small businesses with all parts of the admninsitration process. I find the biggest issue is lack of organisation and process.

Time scarcity is usually the biggest factor and to pick up on just a couple of issues, businesses must be very careful to deal with bad clients (use the ABCD approach) and to do what you do well ie outsourcing.

    Good luck with your ventures,

    Hi and welcome!

I agree, it is a very common problem. Most people start their own business based on a hobby or skill that they have, it is rarely for their love of paperwork.

    Good luck to you :)
