    Hi guys,

I am in the process of starting my own WorkCover and Return to Work Consulting business. I have worked in this industry for over 5 years and enjoy it thoroughly.

The problems i have faced with starting a consulting business is working out what sort of rates to charge eg. hourly rate, travel, preparation etc. I will be doing all sorts of training aswell after completing Cert IV in Training and Assessment next week.

Anyone familar with such a business or similar, i would love to hear your thoughts or any resources you may have.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Zoe,

Thanks for introducing yourself and your new business to us.

Busy times huh? Good on you for asking for advice from those who’ve already trodden the same path :)

In terms of the pricing aspect, you might like to read these handy articles by Flying Solo contributor Julia Bickerstaff.

Running your numbers through Flying Solo’s hourly rate calculator can be a real eye opener too.

Good luck for your new venture,
