    Hey I think I can get to Newcastle for $ 2.50 so Pam and I can come up for the day to get the group started.
    this sounds like fun.

    I think Pam will have to get her head aroud this Ha Ha ahhhhhhh.

    Yep you can Patrick – gotta love that magic card from Centrelink LOL

    You can even hop on a ferry across to Stockton to see where some the beatiful white Hawiian sand comes from :)

    I’m hoping to get to one of the Sydney nights soon – will barter children for petrol in a heartbeat.

    Tell Pam she needs to tighten your leash – you have been very cheeky this last week ;)

    If you are up for, bitsandpixels is on today (bitsandpixels.com.au)….you should go, it’s a great meet up, monthly, for web developers (mainly freelancers).

    New site goes live, ummmm….. :)

    I propose a Newcastle FlyingSolo members meetup for the first Friday of each month, with the first being June 5. I think we should skip May 1st as it’s too soon.

    Proposed Details
    1st Friday of each month
    Morning timeslot (8am)
    Goldbergs Cafe (Darby St, Cooks Hill) or Gloria Jeans (Darby St, Cooks Hill) as they have free wireless and it’s got a nice comfy section out the back.

    Informal meetup, discuss a few ideas, meet some other soloists, whatever takes your fancy.

    Hands up if you’re interested?

    I guess the kids take priority :D
    I’m open to alternative times. What is your preferred time?

    I’m sure there are more people here from Newcastle, but maybe they don’t contribute regularly or are part of the “long time reader” category.
