Hey all,
I have not been very active in the past year, with massive changes all round
The little spin-off from my main business ended up being the main business so much that I closed the main business.
My new business is called https://tinbot.com.au – we are a help desk for your website. We do small website tasks, as well as managed WordPress hosting.
I will try to be more active!
P.S is there no FS FB group? I have been spending a lot of time in business groups in recent months!
Cheers all

Welcome back, good to see you back on the forum
December 12, 2016 at 12:00 am #1203874Up::0Hey Matt,
Great to see you back on the boards It was classic to look back on the 2010 posts on the other thread Amazing how the years fly. Sounds like it’s been a successful period for you – congrats on that and also the new business.
There’s no general Flying Solo FB group right now. It’s something we keep looking at but with so many specialist groups at this stage we’re still loving the old school forums – slower but deeper conversations we reckon And we don’t want to spread things too thin.
Excellent to see you getting involved and look forward to seeing how the new biz progresses.
Cheers, PeterDecember 12, 2016 at 11:17 pm #1203875Up::0Welcome back MK, must admit I haven’t been as active on here as before, we’ve been incredibly busy growing the partner team post-acquisition but I’m looking forward to spending more time back here in CY17!
Website looks great, what are you using in the backend to manage the hosting/accounting/billing/support?

And to answer your next question. Yes, kind of like Stripe, but we’re doing the risk assessment up front, not after you start taking payments.
Also, I’ll reach out in the new year, would like to chat about some business.

The website and all emails redirect We can certainly still help anyone!December 28, 2016 at 12:40 am #1203882Up::0They were wanting a new website. One non-profit organisation has lost their web person, she’d written it in Joomla and I can’t make head nor tail of it. They’re trying to change it to WP and I suggested they needed a professional then gave your name and contact details. I don’t know if it went any further than that.
December 28, 2016 at 12:48 am #1203883Up::0Thanks for the referral! I never heard from them, but such is business. Hope you are going well. Long time no see.
