Hi Soloists, I have ventured in to the big wide world of a single employee. OK not really an employee, just somebody to answer a phone number armed with a script and some answers to basic questions about services we provide.
This includes a virtual land-line number which is forwarded overseas which has been working great for 2 months, but has gone pear-shaped last week.
I occasionally call my own number, but late last week there was some trouble getting through. So I called again outside of hours and got the out of hours message. Called again the following day and no answer.
Long story short, it turns out the ‘large international company, I trusted with my customers turned out to be manned by 2 people, one is on holiday and the other quit unexpectedly.
Not sure how long this has been, but we do promotions once per month and now is when I expect calls to come through.
Can anybody help with somebody to answer maybe 10 to 20 calls this week with a time-frame ending Thursday afternoon?
Can be anybody, anywhere as long as they have a phone I can divert the number and can ad-lib a little from a script and possibly take bookings online through my web site if required? This is a paying job, drop me a line here or PM me if you have yourself or staff who can be available office hours and it would not distract too much from daily work they are already doing.
Thanks, GlennOctober 18, 2015 at 8:21 pm #1189579Up::0I have a team of Virtual Assistants here in Australia and some provide this service. If you want to contact me with your details so I can let my team know, I’m sure you’ll hear from some who could assist you.
October 18, 2015 at 8:42 pm #1189580Up::0Hi @Jamesie,
If you’re willing to mention what kind of biz you have, it can help to get the interest of the right person. I know you don’t need a specialist, but some people will be hesitant to get in touch without knowing what they’re getting into.
Good luck!
Dave
October 18, 2015 at 10:54 pm #1189581Up::0Thanks Kathie and Dave, I am contacting the people who have the virtual number to see how quickly they can redirect it. In my mind it should be instantly but I know that is probably going to take longer.
Job is providing event information to attendees and occasionally going online to purchase the tickets on their behalf.October 18, 2015 at 11:14 pm #1189582 -
