    Hello Everyone,

My name is Erin and I just opened my first online store selling Adult Products. When I say that I am a newbie to this I mean I am extremely new, my website went live last night lol

To be honest I have no idea what i’m doing but i’m reading as much as I can and asking everyone every question I can possibly think of to help build my business. I’m really looking forward to reading everyone’s posts and gaining as much knowledge as possible.
If you get the chance I would love any feedback in regards to my website etc I really need honest constructive criticism as most of the feedback I have received have been from friends and family. My website is http://www.girlybitz.com

Thank you and best of luck in all your endeavours :)

    Hi

    Some impressions on your site:

The top logo area is currently mostly wasted space; try to jazz this up with graphics or key information

The horizontal menu is a bit dull see if you can find something a bit ‘chunkier’ to use

The vertical menu has arrows that I mistook for sub-menus but there were none

Your about us didn’t tell me anything about you it was a size chart

Your products are a picture and a price; as time consuming as it will be engaging, unique content is a must

Your pricing is presumably based on a formula but there’s no harm in rounding it up a bit $32.68 is probably just as attractive as $32.90

In the footer you still have “Customize this text in Theme Settings”

    Just a few suggestions

    Erin,

Good to see someone getting an idea up and running, and having a bit of fun with it too :D :D :D :D

Have a look at these sites:

    http://www.thebargainlab.com.au/

    http://know2go.com.au/

    http://www.wallvision.com.au/

These are people who are users of flyingsolo.

Not too expensive to do either. Non HTML sites are the way forward in 2014.

Would complement your product range and enthusiasm in a much more classy way.

    Go get em girl!!!

Good luck with your venture! Idea is promising, as other’s have said, your site could do with a bit of sprucing?

Also Noeski, what’s a non HTML site?
