I wanted to introduce you guys to fethr, our new startup app for making meaningful social connections. We’re planning to launch in Sydney (when it is safe to do so).
The app uses psychological research and an algorithm to curate offline group meets between six people across Sydney’s favourite venues. The idea is to skip all the unnecessary online preamble endemic to many existing apps for meeting new people, so you get straight to the good part – socialising offline with people who get you.
At the moment, we’re looking for a small group of Sydneysiders to trial our beta platform. It will be a great chance to meet new people as well as an opportunity to be the first to experience our exciting new concept. We’d love it if you were interested – sign up here: http://www.fethr.app

I like the idea of just leaving it up to someone else to decide who you’re meeting. Kind of like when you get the “just feed me” option at a restaurant. It doesn’t always work out, but it’s prob as good as any other method (like trying to choose off a menu of meals you’ve never seen before).
