    Hi Jude,

    What about a SkypeIn number – cheaper alternative to a 1300 number. Might not provide that ‘National’ appeal – but I haven’t had any issues as a national supplier with people not calling because my number is a (07) number.

    The other issue is, you don’t always want people to feel like they are dealing with a big corporation – small businesses appeal to people too, who might want the personal touch.

    The cost of printing business cards is pretty low. If you end up getting a huge number of calls to your personal mobile then you could get yourself a 1300 number and get them reprinted.

    I use a land line personally, they are cheap to set up and with a reasonable answering machine you can check it anytime. Usually I do pass out my mobile number pretty freely as well though
