    Hello All,

I’m in the midst of building a website that offers membership to access certain services. The programing bits have been finalised and the layout is coming together. I still have to put together a Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

One has mentioned to me, meshing together terms & conditions from several established websites ensuring everything is re-written to accomodate the specifics of the website.

Does anyone have any good sources or ideas about where to start up? Do these things come generic with blue coloured writing to change to suit the needs? Do lawyers handle these things? Thanks in advance.

    Hey macway,

We just recently went through the same thing, just make sure even though you are meshing together other T&C’s and privacy policies that you read it thoroughly and understand it – so if it is every questioned you know what your clients are agreeing to!

A good resource we used was here – http://www.freeprivacypolicy.com/

    Hope that helps.

Good stuff!! That website is pretty good, thanks for that!

How about Terms & Conditions have you come accross a similar site?

It seems that talking about Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions is not a popular topic after all haha…

Is there anyone else that would like to place an input?

    2 bob’s worth.
American privacy laws differ to those of Australia.
There doesn’t seem to be any mention of how an individual may access or alter the information you hold.
Minor point but hey, i’m a document nerd!
