    Hi All

I have an idea and for that, I want to do the following:

    1. Import Nuts and other superfoods from other countries (from the USA, Asia, etc.)

    Can anyone guide me on:

    1. If I need to become an importer or get an import license for that?
    2. If so, how do I go about it?
    3. Which department looks after this area?
    4. And how do I source suppliers/growers/manufacture overseas or within Australia?

I want someone who can pack them under my own BRAND…

ANY GUIDANCE OR HELP IS APPRECIATED.

    Hi,

a great first step is to enquire with Austrade to see what import licenses you require.

also a foreign exchange broker like AFEX can help too.

Call up Visy Logistics and ask their broker, they’ll tell you straight away on what you need and departments.

If you can’t find a supplier within Australia unfortunately you haven’t put in enough effort, time and research for your business. Keep planning and put in the work.

If it was easy to ask the questions for everything and have it handed to you, everyone would be in business.

    Regards and Good Luck.
