    In the tech scene we always see start-ups giving stakes of the company to their first employees as opposed to paying a salary. Something I’ve seen less in Brick n Mortar.

    Does anyone have any knowledge on giving stakes as opposed to salaries? I want to give a STAKE of my company’s REVENUE for the first year to a supervisor position who will take a heavy load off of me while I focus on other parts of my start up’s success.

    What advice do you guys have on giving percentages of revenues in a start-up? Looking forward to hearing some great opinions!
