    Hi there,

Was hoping for some advice. We do training videos for our staff and place them into our secure cloud ‘how to’ system (backpack).

We need to store these videos somewhere where they are:
    1) very secure (as sensitive training videos)
    2) has an embed code (so we can paste into backpack)
    3) will work on an ipad.

Does anyone know a good cloud system to store videos that can do this? YouTube was the first we thought of but it doesn’t seem very secure etc

Sorry if this is has been asked before but I couldn’t find it in the search.

    Kind regards,
    Dandy

    Try Wistia – http://wistia.com/

I haven’t tried it myself, but I’ve heard very good things and it’s starting to be used by a lot of the big Aussie internet marketers. The features look impressive, although the free version is a little limited.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    John

Thanks John but from their FAQ I could find it doesn’t look like it has an embed code for videos? It just seems like a dropbox.

They absolutely give you an embed code – and you can fully configure how the embedded player will look and what features are available. See here – http://wistia.com/product/superembeds

I’m not sure what gave you the impression it was just like dropbox?

Thanks everyone. Thought I’d give an update.
I bought the pro version of Vimeo and it’s working brilliantly.
All videos can be embedded, work on iPad, easy and quick to upload, plenty of space and are private so only those with embed link can watch. It’s fabulous!

Just wanted to say thank you for all your advice :)

What is wrong with youtube? You can set your videos to private and they can easily be embedded?

To be honest when we looked into Youtube it just didn’t seem as secure and easy to use as Vimeo looked. I might be wrong, but from memory there were limits to views and the viewers needed to sign in etc or password protect.
