    Hi everyone,

I’m a newbie to the Flying Solo forum.

I’ve gone over many of the existing forum posts trying to find some answers to the below, however so far haven’t really come across any winners so thought I’d try for some new responses.

I’m trying to hunt down a Sydney based die cut carton manufacturer, with stock cartons available. As a new business and in the interests of keeping costs down, I’ll be branding the plain/natural kraft cartons with a sticker or stamp. Custom die cuts are costly, so this won’t be an idea I’ll be entertaining for some time. My requirements are relatively small, hence an off the shelf carton would be best. I’ve found a few suppliers already however they are VIC and QLD based, so something in Sydney would be preferred.

    Thanks everyone!

    Hey Soph,

A good question for you is what sort of carton and what quantity will you require initially and down the track?

I used to be in the Printing/Finishing Industry and was using ALLMAD (All mounting and Die-Cutting) services http://allmad.com.au – great service and quality work. If you went this way you would have to get them to make the die/knife-line but once this is made, you would only have to pay for the stamping/die-cutting costs which per 1,000 sheets can be quite economical for larger qty’s. If it were me, I would scrap the idea of the sticker, print on the cardboard stock/paper, then die-cut but this all depends on the quantities. This would save on some printing costs.

If you didn’t want to go down this road, alternatively there is a company in Sydney. Never used them before but just did a quick search for you. Here is the link. http://www.amalgamatedcartons.com.au/

Good luck with it all :)

Thanks for the message and all that info DontBiteIT. Very kind.

The quantities that I need to order are going to be < 100 for some time yet. Completely understand that down the line I may require higher quantities, however in the interests of not knowing exactly what dimensions are going to work best for my product offering, the capital required, low order quantities, etc, buying stock cartons and then stamping would really be the best option. Unfortunately the carton company you linked has pallet qtys of 400, so more than I require. The numbers I’m looking at are less than 50 for my two different sizes.

No problems at all, my pleasure :)

There are also these places but I’m not sure if they will help. Good luck anyway :)
