    Hi all,
I have found that while there are insurance options out there specialised for those who sell handmade goods/are crafters, but within those, none of them will cover you if you sell handmade kids toys. Would love some help and or advice on what to do?

I have a budget of basically zero, this is an entirely self funded from nothing, full time business venture for me! So if you have advice not related to insurance Im sure i will love amd appreciate that too!

One of the best ways to find an insurer when you’re having difficulty, is through a broker. They have the contacts and know how to find someone who is interested in providing insurance.

If you have a budget of zero, close your doors, and dont sell kids toys, this is one area fraught with potential danger, and you need to be insured, and make sure you comply with ALL of the regulations around safety and kids toys.

    Please stop now.

all it takes is one kid dying on a loose part. and your budget is in the negative and you could be liable. I would not jump into anything aimed at kids, pets or cosmetics without confirming all the correct legal avenues and having a budget to work with on that project.
