Hi I am hoping to introduce SMS Marketing to my small business. I run an Online Plant delivery service and consulting businesses. I was going to use the SMS marketing to share gardening Tips and special offers from my website with my customers. I DO NOT INTEND ON COLD SMS-ING. I will ask customers first to sign up and I will not sue their number without their consent. My question is, what SMS Marketing platform are people using and what one would they recommend. Any help appreciated.

If I have opted In for SMS marketing, then I think it’s a great way to push information out to your clients. I love it when I get specials for my favourite stores etc, it’s quick and easy and if I don’t need it I just delete it. .
You may also want to consider a provider that has combined services for both SMS and Email, so you can utilise the same service for both forms of marketing, rather than having your contacts in 2 places.
Make sure the one you choose has an automated opt out systems in place, so you don’t have to manually remove them from the list.
Below are some links – one to a comparison site and another for a service that provides both. Do some research on reviews for each.

A good place to start would be to find an SMS/text marketing provider that works relatively easily with your e-commerce platform and fits your requirements.
