    Hi all,

I have just started a small business specialising in health foods, prmarily health/herbal tea’s at this point.

I have run a few specials and have just created a new one, a buy 2 get 1 free. Are there any small business owners out there or marketing guru’s that can help me with feedback as to how my special will look to prospective customers?

CHeck it out here: http://247health.com.au/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16 this is the link through from the home page. I would love any feedback about the website in general too, thanks.

Thanks again for all your time and I hope I may be a helpful poster in time, after I have more experience!

    hi

your specials look fine to me.

You’ll want to start building your email list so you can notify them of any specials and new products

Don’t just have a small newsletter form on the side of your site either like most sites they are ineffective at capturing emails, have a popup that shows after say 2-3 page visits (so the visitor is not seeing it as the first thing on your site, they don’t know what your site is about yet), the popup can say something like:

“Get notified of new items, discounts and get an instant 10% off just for signing up to our newsletter”

Sign up to Campaign Monitor to manage your email list it’s free until you want to send out an email, others will charge you a monthly subscription whether you use it or not, the monthly fee is only good when you’ve built up a large list.

If you want help with getting it all setup just PM me

Just some little things – I find the small text pretty hard to read. And it would look more visually pleasing if the banner was widescreen and moved right along to the right menu area.
