    Hello!

My name is Carlie and I am the owner of SproutSpire.
I focus on improving businesses using online technologies – Web design, Online Marketing and Digital Strategies.

I am still trying to find my angle or niche, but I am thinking I will start doing what I like to do and maybe I will find it. After all, I could dream forever, I need to start!

I have been web designing and running websites for almost 15 years as a hobby. I’ve always wanted to work for myself, I don’t know why I hadn’t started before now.

In the “day job” I am a teacher, and I love to teach so I would like to branch out into consulting. At the moment I am focusing on my business blog to establish some authority and because, as a teacher, I love helping and educating people. So if you are looking for tips for your website, or how to use the internet to make your business more efficient, be sure to check it out.

Looking forward to growing my own business and being an active member of flying solo!

Sorry about the double post. An error came up when I posted the first one and I thought it hadn’t gone through. I couldn’t find a place to delete this.

    Welcome Carlie,

I’ve done much the same as you. Turned a hobby/passion into a business.

    Best of luck with everything.

    regards
    Derek

    Hi Carlie,

Welcome, and thanks for introducing yourself to us all.

I love your blend of teaching and web experience, and suspect you’ll be on to a winning combo there. There are plenty of people around who are interested in learning more about all things online.

All the best to you and your business,
    Jayne

PS: I’ve merged your two threads into one for you :)
