    Hello,

Great community, didn’t think twice and just had to join!

I’m new to Australia and was originally born and raised in Germany. I’m 26 and here with a working holiday visa.

I have always been interested in entrepreneurship and starting a business was always on the agenda. Now I want to take the plunge and go for it, ideally in the small business area.

I’ve surfed around various websites, but couldn’t really find a clear answer on how my working holiday visa could be changed into a business visa in order for me to stay and run the business from Australia.

Does any of you guys have experiences with ‘starting a small business as a foreigner’?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Matt

    Hi Matt

Wilkommen! Thanks for joining Flying Solo and hope you’re enjoying sunny Australia.

It’s exciting that you want to set up a Home-based business here. While I can’t give any tips about visas, you may be able to find out more information from one of the migration agents listed in our directory.

Enjoy your time on our site and in the country.

    Bye for now,
    Lucinda :)
