Curious, why transport? why business?

Your questions relates to some very basic fundamentals and sometimes business critical for success.. Not lots of people will share exact details..

Although to get contracts, you need to know or speak to people…

To create jobs, you need to have work, turnover and cash flow.

There is a chance i am missing what you are actually seeking, although i feel you may also be omitting some essential information that would assist… such as your ideas, what it is and what depth of business you are trying to create? are you wanting to be a single van operator or are you wanting to tackle world freight?

Buy a truck
Buy a warehouse
Sign paint both to say you are a transport and logistics company
You have a business

With 4 trucks I would have thought that you would have some of that worked out first. Tell us what you have already done and the results, and we may be able to help you from there. Are you thinking of specialising in something?

A key to running a business is communications, can I suggest you stay a sub contractor, and not go for a logistics business, where the number 1, 2 , 3 and 4th requirement is communications. Brutal I know, but sometimes thats what needs to be said.
