    Hey everyone,

My name is Michelle and I have launched my online Accessories store a few weeks ago.

I have an marketing strategy plan and have taken steps to carry them out. I have had an average of 20 clicks per day and just recently it has shot up to 50 clicks…but no sale :(

Starting out…I have been experience a lot of self doubt e.g. am I price things correctly? is marketing strategies not good? etc

I was just wanting to speak with any mentors or anyone who has started a new business and is feeling the way I do.

    Thanks
    Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the forum – I’m glad you joined us today :)

There are lots of experienced online retailers around here, and they’re very generous with their advice, so I’m sure you’ll receive some ideas soon. Don’t get too concerned yet, because one thing that many of them will tell you is that it definitely takes a while to start seeing traction… even when you’re doing everything right.

I hope that you pick up plenty of handy info here on the forum to help you get your new business up and running.

Good luck, and thanks for joining Flying Solo :)

    Hi Michelle

    Welcome on board.

It is very daunting when you are just starting out,
Trying to achieve that allusive first sale.

Taking the first step is sometimes the hardest, but you have done that :)
So just stay positive and persevere.
One of my favorite sayings is:
“Time takes care of everything” and I am sure it will for you.

All the best on your new adventure.

    Dave.

PS. You should add your signature to your posts, so people can see your site.

Thank you so much for your advice :) Its a little comforting to know that other start up businesses are in the same boat as me.

Im really passionate about this venture and I will definitely keep persisting.

Also thanks for the tip about the signature!
