Hi all,

I hope you all are staying safe and well.

I am from Perth, Western Australia and have been doing casual cleaning for some time and thought of starting my own cleaning service. As I know, cleaning industry is sub contracted to a multiple levels. I focus on providing a quality service rather than compromising it on the price.

Could someone kindly advise me on how to approach a client? This would be my first business here in Australia.

After Business Name registration and insurances are sorted out, you could advertise on Gumtree or Serviceseeking for some first customers.

You could also consider your own website with Adwords or Facebook ads.

Letterbox flyer drops in your local area can also be effective.

There is a very useful community of cleaners using software called Launch 27.

They have a private Facebook Group you can ask to join.
