    Hi
I was wondering how to find Talent Agencies for Pets? I have two stunning Ragdoll Cats who I show frequently, so they are used to being handled by strangers. They are very placid, by nature, and I think they would do well as Supermodels :)
With all the different pet products on the market, with various pictures of pets, there must be a demand for easy to work with animals? Any ideas?

    thanks
    Angela

    Hi Wendy,

thanks for the link, the only one I could find on there in Australia, is in Melbourne. Lots of other interesting stuff though, off to have a bit more of a look.

    cheers

    Hi Angela

A couple of years ago I was looking at one of my dogs ‘contributing some dollars into the household’. Talent agencies for pets are not really a happening thing here in Australia – plus every lead I got had the pre requisite of the animal being specifically clicker trained.

It seems a lot of dogs and cats that are used in ads and for ‘modelling’ are located through training schools. Saying that, there are many pet businesses that do catalogues with pets as models, so it might also be worth contacting these pet businesses directly and developing your own client base. This link may be of some use for some info:

    Poppy’s gorgeous btw!

Angela your cat is divine. I’m also in Sydney and looked into this when my dogs were puppies and couldn’t find anyone (despite having a friend who is a leading casting agent and formerly working in advertising). I concluded there is a fun business idea here for a pet lover! Good luck, Cate
