I think a professional email signature is critical. What information/contact details do you include in yours? I’m particularly interested to hear if you put connections to your twitter, facebook etc. I just added a small twitter button to mine to hopefully personalise my contact with clients and prospects.

    My Email signature:

    Kind Regards

    Name
    Position

(twitter button that is a hyperlink to my twitter page)

    Company name
    Business address
    Direct phone number
    Email address
    Company logo
    Website address
    Disclaimer

With your links to social media do you use buttons (images) that are hyperlinks or text? Also, which ones do you use twitter, facebook, linkedin etc? Do you display a business logo or any slogans etc?

Well you forced me to get with the times Chris and it was much appreciated. If you can help me with one more thing for the year it would be appreciated. I just created a Google Profile and there is like a picture slide show display on it that I can’t remove. Can you tell me how to delete it?

To be honest Gordon, I have no idea!

I think it’s something to do with Google embedding Picasa 3 into the profile. I’m sure I’ll work out how to get it off.

Too many differences in the way offline and web based email apps display images. Anyone who has ever dipped their toe into doing e-newsletters will know this.

It might be worth running your sigs through this….but won’t help ya with the rest of your html email unless ya want to test every one…

Mailchimp have got one too I think…
