    Hi everyone,

Im currently in the early stages of importing Teak from Laos, its all legal and treated in Laos as well as being supported by Dept. of Agriculture international programs.

I have some contacts here ready to buy, but need more.

If anyone has any websites/ meeting places that would head me in the right direction for finding new contacts and networks within the timber industry that would be great.

If you are one of these people feel free to contact me directly to discuss.

    Thanks,
    Darragh

    Hi Darragh

Thanks for joining the forums and good luck with your venture.

I’m assuming you’ve done a fair bit of research online, but just in case, these two organisations look like they may have some useful contacts and directories for you:

    https://www.timberbiz.com.au/

    http://www.tabma.com.au/

Thanks Robert, I had a quick look at both sites, in all my research neither one of those popped up in google for me..
both look great though- I should be able to get my product to at least a few of the people on those sites.

    Thanks again,
    Darragh

It’s a pleasure and I’m really pleased they were of some help.
