    .
Wondering if there is any way to increase the ‘time out’ time of the Flying Solo site?
I haven’t timed it so can’t say how long it is currently, but would be good if it could be at least three or four hours.

    Thanks,

    Lindsay

    Hi Lindsay,

Sorry for the slow response on this one! Just to clarify on this one…

Are you referring to a need to re-login to the forums after a period of inactivity? There is a session time currently of around an hour.

But, from what I recall, if you select ‘remember me’ on the way in during login then you shouldn’t have to login again if you have cookies enabled.

Are you selecting that but still having to re-login regularly?

Let me know and I’ll investigate.

    Cheers
    Peter

    Thanks Peter,

Now that you mention it, I think it remembers me okay. The main issue seems to be that when I re-visit, many earlier posts are no longer accessible under ‘new posts’.

Perhaps there’s a way to access these easily that I don’t know about yet?

    All best,

    Lindsay

    Hi Lindsay,
Ah yes I know what you mean – where it only shows new posts since your last visit.
An easy way to access a list of the latest posts is to click on the ‘Quick links’ menu item in the grey bar (a bit to the right of ‘new posts’) and click ‘Today’s posts’ which will give you all the posts in the last 24 hours.
    Hope that helps
    Cheers,
    Peter

Ah! ‘Quick links’…probably the only little button that I’ve never clicked on. 😮

    All good now. :)

    Thanks Peter
