Hi Ben, the site is clean and neat, but to impart trust and confidence (for ease of use), you need to have contact details including a postal address (post office address is fine) and at least a mobile number. Plus an ABN. There is no location mentioned either. People need to know they can contact someone if things don’t seem right. You can always use a GIF or JPG file with your contact details if you don’t want the web crawlers harvesting the details.

The Australian-owned logo has strict guidelines and fees for use so it’s a good idea to check the government guidelines before using it http://www.australianmade.com.au/logo . If you are unsure, you can make your own design but it must not look like the government approved version.
Can any company use the Australian Made, Australian Grown trade mark?
To use the AMCL registered trade mark a company must apply for a licence to use the logo, provide a list of products on which the logo will be used, and pay an annual licence fee. Applicants must agree to comply with the Australian Made, Australian Grown Code of Practice. Copies of the Code of Practice are available from the Campaign office.

Dick Smith has his own Australian owned logo http://www.dicksmithfoods.com.au/index.php?d=main&p=why

    Hi Ben,

Overall, I think the site looks great and you’ve done a great job.

I just have a couple of suggestions:

I’m not a huge fan of the font in the three boxes on the home page (i.e. “List things that you want delivered” etc) The font looks like it has been shadowed or something similar which makes it look a little blurry.

You could consider overlaying the digits ‘1’ ‘2’ and ‘3’ over the three boxes on the home page, to show that it is a consecutive process.

Maybe you could have a general overview statement on the front page that tells visitors exactly what it is that your business does.
The bullet list, item #4 – ‘Sendselect’ is missing the second capital S to make it consistent with the spelling of your business name in other areas.

And yes, I completely agree that you need to have contact details shown somewhere on the site.

Anyway – that’s just my two cents worth!

    Hey Melissa

Thanks for the feedback I like all your ideas. I ll have a look at homepage text on another pc it shows up clear on mine but my res is not set to high so will check it out.

We have not marketed the site much yet however we intend on getting it all going in the next two weeks once my business partner has finalised a few little glitches.

    Thanks again Melissa

    Kind regards

    Ben Douglas
