    Hello,

Can you have a look at this site and tell me how they have embodies the tweets within the blog post?

    http://blog.invisionapp.com/a-look-inside-design-at-xero/

I can see this is the HTML (as an example)

I tell people, we’re not a software company. We’re a user experience company.

but what’s the simple way to do it ? Thanks!!

What you’re seeing is the parsed HTML, not what’s making it work.

I think this is what you’re looking for http://wordpress.org/plugins/tweetable-text/, it was hidden in the javascript includes at the bottom of the page (page source code).

Thanks – I installed it and it stopped my SEARCH function – so I uninstalled it. I tried a couple of others and they did not work for me either – ho hum

Wordpress has a mind boggling 1300 plugins tagged as Twitter. I did a WordPress site a couple of years back and used this:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-twitter-profile-widget/

It is old and hasn’t been updated for a couple of years. There are probably are a lot of better options out there, but it is basic and it did what I needed it to do. It grabbed the tweets and embedded them in the website as a widget.

    regards
    Derek

On each tweet at twitter.com, you can click ‘More’, then ‘Embed Tweet’. This will give you HTML code that you can paste into your blog post.

Hope that helps. If you can’t quite crack it, you can message me on Skype: martin.embersketch

    Good luck!

Yes if you look at the link – the tweet is neat and discrete and its pushing off the page. Embedding is massive and pulling from an existing tweet – not what I’m trying to do. I do use that function too though.
