Hi from Sunny Cairns!

I’m Michelle, a Canadian-Australian living in the tropical far north with my husband, two boys and two rescued pups.

I started my Virtual Assistant business in April 2011, but have been in the industry since April 2009.

My main clients are in the UK and Ireland, and I help them with managing their online membership programmes, updating web pages, uploading blog posts and broadcasting newsletters. I’ve recently ventured into creating websites using WordPress, and it’s been loads of fun so far!

It’s a pleasure to be here. I hope I can add some value to the discussion and learn some things along the way.

Hi Michelle, lovely to see you here. I didn’t know that about your clients. Truly virtual with no chance of meeting them face-to-face at all. It is a great way to work isn’t it?

Hi Kathie,

Good to see you here too! Yes, people are often amazed that I have never met actually met any of my clients. It really is great. A couple of years ago, when I had to go back to Canada for a few weeks, I was able to keep working; it was all seamless. Isn’t that just the dream?!
