    Hi all,

I am having a small kiosk inside a shopping centre in Victoria for a few years. I was recently charged the water rate for my kiosk. However, I don’t have water connected to my kiosk. Do you have experience with it? Do I need to pay for the water rate or do all shops in the shopping centre have to pay for it? I checked with the shopping centre manager but they could not give me the answer as they get the water rate from the council.

    Thank you.

Do not have specific experience, although i think its levied across all shops – be it restrooms or other and maybe not directly related to water @ the shop/kiosk itself.. Could be completely wrong though….

However, have you reviewed your lease contract? anything charged should be mentioned… and being a shopping centre, they are pretty on top of contracts (in their favour as well majority of time)..

    Cheers
