Hi folks, I just finished writing a 6-part guide to buying web design.

It is mostly aimed at small business owners and since most people here are exactly that, I’d love to get some feedback.

    1) Is the guide helpful?
    2) Is the language and level of depth appropriate?
    3) Will web designers benefit from getting more educated clients?

    Hi Daniel,

I’ve moved your post over here to the Community Reviews section of the boards, which is the more appropriate place for it.

Stay tuned and I’m sure some folk will be along to give your their feedback soon.

    Good luck!
    Jayne

Hi Daniel, I didn’t read all of your web page, I instantly felt it was too long. I think you should put all of your points on one page and condense it somewhat.

    – Just my 2 cents.

I think it’s great info and would definitely be of benefit to some small business owners who are looking at buying web design.

You should turn it into an ebook:

Are you referring to specific lesson? If so, which lesson? If not, the page I linked to is already a summary page.

Do you mean the summary page is too long?

Hi TJ, I think the ebook suggestion is a great idea! I was thinking perhaps it could be distributed for free to various associations. Any other ideas for distributing the ebook version?

Hi Wendy, thanks! Perhaps recommend it to a friend that is thinking of starting a website? It would be very much appreciated :)
