What webcam should I get Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 or Microsoft LifeCam VX-7000. Does anyone have feedback or experience?

I don’t want to get one and find another one does something that I have not contemplated?

    The 9000 is excellent

I think if you go on price rather than brand, it will be easier.

So if the MS and LT are both rrp $180 you can guarantee pretty much, they are going to have the same features.

Logitech wins in the style war though.

This review makes a liar out of me, same price and the Logitech is heaps better apparently.

    I like logitechs webcams.

Just make sure that you are happy with the mounting piece with whatever you purchase as I find that is the main thing that annoys the hell out of me. Some of them dont have anything you can use to mount onto the top of a monitor. Most webcams are much of a muchness, so I wouldnt spend a huge amount. I would say under 100 will get you a decent one for sure. Keep in mind it is a webcam, therefore you dont need super quality because it gets cut down anyway when used with skype etc.

One with a decent microphone inbuilt is also a big win!

    Adam & Superman,

umart has them both priced around $120.

I did see the review you are referring to Adam, my reservations were that it was written in 2007, 2 years ago…a life time in tech talk!

    thanks for your feedback.
