I love everything about this question, spied on LinkedIn this morning in a conversation about packing up and moving out of NYC to a small town. You can read the full post here – it’s totally worth it.
The author, an recent ex-We Work employee writes:
“Last month I left my role at WeWork. On my last day of work, on my last call I stood in my closet while movers in masks packed up our apartment. We drove 3 days straight with our 2 and 4yr old from Brooklyn to Minneapolis, my hometown that I last lived in 26yrs ago. While we are energized by the change (and loving our choices), the Covid-19 pandemic has also surfaced a more reflective and decisive version of ourselves- one that is more readily asking and acting on: What is the best version of my life? What is best for my kids? my partner? my mental health? How can I make a positive contribution and fight Covid-19? How can I create more diversity, equity and inclusive work or learning experiences?”
Just reading that has given me a sense of renewed energy ahead of a busy day. Do you ever give yourself the permission to ask that question? I know so many here in this community asked themselves this when they set about starting a business in the first place. But what about now? What would your best version of life look like and do you think you are living it?

How would you interact?
How would you be treated?
How would issues be resolved?
What would the results be? and on it goes.Within this context, it is not a luxury to ask this but almost a duty.
Cheers

My answer to that, it would be awesome, as there would be no issues to be resolved and you would be treated with respect and you could interact any time you felt like it.
There is a small commercial cleaning company in Bendigo that is gradually building to this level.
A few of the older guys in the industry have been guiding the owner with suggestions and moral support for a couple of years now.. -
