    Hello everyone,

I’ve been posting a few replies on the forums the last few weeks, so thought it might be a good time to finally write my “debut” forum thread. Hopefully it’s one you all find interesting!

I have a question for all of you …

Which business-related blogs do you like to visit on a regular basis?

Personally, here are some of the ones I like to read:

Okay … maybe I cheated with that last one since that’s MY blog … :P

Anyway, over to you now. Which blogs do YOU like to read? (and please feel free to add your own blog too!)

I think it would be great to compile a handy list of great blogs here!

    Hi Adam,
Thanks for sharing those. I’m a big fan of Zen Habits and Seth Godin’s too.

I’ll look forward to checking out those others you’ve listed.

    Have a fun day,
    Jayne

    Hi Jayne and Melinda,

Jayne – yes, Zen Habits is wonderful, isn’t it? The guy who runs that also has a writing blog that you might be familiar with. It’s http://www.writetodone.com/

Melinda – Ah, yes. I have read some of Dave Navarro’s work too. I like his stuff too. Thanks for the menwithpens link. I’ve bookmarked that now. Hehe, “SuperWHAM”. I like the name. :)

    Hey everyone,

Thanks for posting more blog links. For some reason I haven’t been getting email notifications for this thread, so didn’t realise more people had been replying lately!

Anyhoo, some great blog links there.

    Another couple I might add:

Smashing Magazine – Primarily intended for web designers and developers, but many of their articles are relevant to ANY online business.

Freelance Switch – Covers a vast array of topics that are relevant to any freelancer.

Oh, and another recent one I have discovered:

Not a Pro Blog – A humourous blog about internet marketing written by a comedian. Quite entertaining and informative.

Hi Adam, I also enjoy Smashing Magazine a well as Mashable.com

My favourite is Mixergy.com– Where ambitious Upstarts meet.

This has a wonderful array of audio/video interviews with transcripts from some of the most successful E’s in tech business today. Awesome.

Great thread! Nice job getting this out there, I hope it continues and gets more folks on it (I only just found it, but I’m only kind of just back from FS hiatus). I also hope the shamelessly Self-Promoting Blowhard Wankers from other forums leave this thread alone, it deserves to stay clean.

So here’s some of my favourites, and I know some are dupes from previous posts, but they’re included because they’re so good:

    • http://www.kaushik.net/avinash/ – Avinash Kaushik is a helluva bloke, AND he works for Google, AND he wipes more Google Analytics knowledge off the end of his nose after sneezing than most folks will learn in a year. He is my Elvis.
    • http://googlesmb.blogspot.com/ – Useful in some parts, Google self-promotion in others, but there’s stuff in there that a lot of small businesses never think of that’s fast, easy and free that will help your website heaps.
    • http://ittybiz.com/ – If I weren’t already married… this chick has so much rich life advice that to apply it to business would make you 50 bazillion times more successful.
    • http://stonesoup.com.au/ – Right, plug time. This one’s not really “mine” in that there’s a handful of contributors, but I built it and *I* sure like reading it for the Small Business/Webnerd advice and insight.

Good stuff, keep ’em comin’ people, spread this kinda love around and open new doors for folks.
