Dr Tim Nielsen trained as a research biochemist before launching high-tech clothing company Brazcom from home with his wife in 2008. Reflecting their professional backgrounds, Brazcom specialises in the importing, manufacturing and distribution of high-tech clothing, which incorporates science and technology to provide additional benefits to the wearer. Brazcom is now an award-winning wholesale and retail operation with clients Australia-wide.
Tims areas of interest include all aspects of the importing, manufacturing, and distributing (wholesale and retail) games. Having built a successful business from scratch, he also likes to discuss the myriad unique challenges and pressures facing micro-startups, such as working from home, working alone and working with family members, among others.
