Design is a thread that runs through Tim Preston's life; sometimes laid-up into a useful rope, other times buried in the warp and weft of other things.
For the last eleven years he's been designing and making in the business usethings with his partner Debbie Taylor. He has a degree in industrial design but balances that with trade qualifications as a shipwright. Working with his hands is part of his design which leads to the simple and practical things they make.
These days Tim's passion for rock climbing has morphed into a bigger part of his life… and he's created a business to justify and expand the time he now spend on it!
"You should fall because you fail to do the move, not because you fail to try the move." - Andy Kirkpatrick
