Hi Paul, good point out – thanks for that.

I am currently introducing more variety or the same kind of product so I guess that shouldn’t matter.

I’ll hit up some of the SEO guys from here for a chat. Any recommendations?

Thanks everyone for the feedback everyone. Great tips and insight.

I might go down the route of our sourcing this to a professional. Looks like he going rate for good SEO companies are around the $1.5k per month mark?

    Hi Elissa,

Thanks for that. Good point – I didn’t think about what could happen to the partnership with Maxton down the line!

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Hi PUNCH Digital Team,

I was actually just changed that to something else half an hour ago after doing some more research.

Thanks for the advice and I will keep that in mind. Would you mind letting me know which website you used to find out how often the keywords been searched for?

Also, if I have Polyurethane Front Bumper Lip – will this work for keywords Front Lip, or Polyurethane Lip etc. Like would it pick up different combinations of the phrase as keywords?

I also have front lips in a lot through out my website, but when I used website seobook to check my website – it doesn’t list front lip as one of my keywords. Not sure why that is the case when that should be the most used phrase on my website.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Shirley,

Thanks for the feedback. The 2 brands both sell similar equipment, but the Maxton items will be branded Maxton.

Yeah, I think I will be going down the route of keeping 2 names and I do like the idea of having ‘powered by ABW’.

    Thanks for the advise!

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for the feedback.

My current thought is to run it as both but then thinking about the disadvantages:
    – Customers getting confused whose who
    – Not sure if I want to start a new website to separate the both. Right now the new one just has a section in my current website. But I did register a new domain name.
    – Advertising and promotion for 2 names instead of one might be tricky.
    – Double the cost of stickers, banners, emails etc

I guess the main thing I wanted to avoid was customer confusions. Some times it’s already hard enough to get a sale let alone giving them more things to ask about haha. But then again, not sure if this is really a bad thing.

    Cheers,
    Steve
