It definitely depends on where your audience is. Think about where they may be and how you could use those platforms to gain their attention.

Adobe is one of the more expensive SaaS products which you will encounter for design due to their suite of products which are considered essential for most professional graphics designers/video editors. Not sure about Illustrator but there are free alternatives (albeit not as good) for Photoshop (GIMP) and Premiere (DaVinci).
