My partner does gardening jobs and the only advertising he does is letterboxing every year or so. If you need more clients you do maor than that of course. This lead to constant customers every month or fortnight. There is a HUGE advantage to it: you simply pick one area which is not too far away and you will have all your clients in your area, saves you a lot of petrol and time. Pick an area which looks a bit affluent with nice gardens with little lawn.
Up0I would like the age of my online customers, offline it is 65+. I started that thread because yesterday, my whole business facebook page disappeared. That and the bad rap they got recently I thought that can’t last very long. I think it is not wise to rely on facebook only.
Up0My kids say that facebook is for old people (like me). There are quite some discussion of people wanting to move away from facebook.

Up0If you worked for ten years you probably know a lot of people who tried this, simply talk to them and ask questions. In hospitality you have to be super nice, if you ever have problems with bosses, friends, coworkers don’t do it. If you aren’t super nice to your customers you will fail (this is even more true if you live in a small community).
Up0I would sell at markets then you see how people react to your products and which other products they want. Can’t you make a wider range? It is easier to make money offline than online, I would still do online though.

Up0Your site looks as if you would buy cheap products and resell it, but you tell you are making your own products. Why on earth don’t you tell the story, even imbed a movie on how you make it (I hate movies), you have a face and family members using your products and you write about all the goodies you put in ….tell a story!!! If you have only 20 products I would not using dropdown menues and then you find only 5 products.Why do you write that you are a beauty therapist in the product description and not in an about page? Ditto with postage….Were is the contact page? I would try to write a bit more interesting and enganging, come on you have only 20 products it’s not that much work.. and I would maybe introduce small and big bottles of the same product or free shipping over a certain amount.
Up0Australia post is a nightmare. But you can’t get around. They have a stencil (? well a piece of plastic with a hole) at the post office and you should draw it on a piece of paper and make your own, so you can easily see what fits through and what doesn’t. Otherwise I would consider doing combinations like 3 items for ….. With shopify you might have to trick around a bit.

Up0I realise that if I am in ther right mind/mood things turn to be positive. I realise that there are suddenly coincidences and things happening and I have the right ideas too. Maybe this is supersticious???
