Hey – this is a decision you’ll most likely be battling with for the rest of your ecommerce life;) Finding the right solution is almost impossible (imho) – there’s always something that’s missing in the perfect solution.
We’ve been working with Neto for our site colourblocker for a couple of years.
The upside with NETO is that it’s Australian, has a great shipping integration into Australia post, and offers a wholesale & dropshipping functionalities.
The downside is it’s price, the support, lack of NETO experienced developers and VA’s and it’s lack of apps. And then we also have fallen in mad love with shopify…After launching our electronics site ZUMI we’ve seen the light – and become obsessed with the ever-expanding, loveable Shopify.
It’s soooo easy to get setup. It’s literally a click and play solution with the most beautfiul free themes around. You’re site will look amazing in 30 seconds if you have great pics.
Shopify’s support is incredible too! You can give them a call anytime – or hit them up on live chat (even on the lowest plan). And they give you the time of day….
What’s even more mind-blowing is their insane apps marketplace. You can find an app for pretty much everything you need. The problem is the rabbit hole. You can easily find yourself trying out, and paying for more and more apps as the time goes by. It’s pretty exciting.
And if you’re looking to outsource any design or dev work – there’ millions of people who can help you out….
Yes the expenses add up. Yes you can’t customise your checkout unless you’re on Shopify (but they’re a partner of zippay!) +. Yes it’s a closed platform. But yes – it’s soooo easy to start selling online.
Give them both a demo. It’s Free.
You have nothing to lose.
Hope that helps.PS – What’s ecorner?

I just took a quick look at your website as its name intrigued me, and thought you’d want to know that you’ve got a typo in your banner… ‘battery’. (Don’t you hate that?)
Nice to meet you,

No name, no details just a hook to get people in.. This may be why not many are replying, also to the point where your only 4 posts since joining are about similar things? Have you not been able to secure your Left Brained person yet from these previous posts?
Most people in here, not that i can speak for all, tend to like to get to know people – to understand a little before offering or even contributing.. Sorry to be blunt about that, but your best reply may come when you are willing to at least introduce yourself.
Wishing you all the best though
Jason

JSmith, post: 195140 wrote:Hi guys,For the purposes of this post, I have created a new account. I am a regular user of FlyingSolo, and a lot of you already know me, however I believe it is best if this remains anonymous. Forgive me for not posting an introduction.
Here’s my situation: Around two years ago, I identified a great niche and started an E-commerce store. My niche is a very specific electronic item, valued at around $20. From that point on, I saw immediate success. I made my first sale about 24 hours after being crawled by Google, and almost immediately ranked #1 and #2 for the vast majority of good keywords. (I have a bit of a knack for SEO.)
Things were going swimmingly until about two weeks ago. I got an unexpected bill from my webhost for repairs on my server, and paying this put me in a bad situation. At that point, all of my attention was focused on making my web host happy. Over that day, orders continued to accumulate. The money from those orders was automatically sucked up by my webhost taking a payment from my PayPal account.
Then – the worst happened. My server got taken offline. No email accounts, no website, nothing. It’s all backuped up, but that doesn’t help me much at this point.
There are about 100 outstanding orders, and I have no money to buy stock, or to ship the orders out. Around 20 people have processed refunds through PayPal leaving me with around -$200 in my PayPal account. I am more than happy to be in debt to PayPal, rather than leave loads of people hanging.
At least 2 people have lodged complaints with the office of fair trading, and I received a single call from them asking me to refund the customer, which I did. However, now my 1300 number had also expired and I can’t afford to pay it.
No one can contact me, and I am extremely worried about this entire situation. I have no idea what to do, I can’t afford a lawyer, and even if I could, I don’t know where to start looking.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m 22, I’ve been doing this for only 2 years, and I am extraordinarily scared of the legal reprocussions awaiting me should this not have a speedy resolution.
Thanks very much for reading this enormous post.
Best regards,
A very worried Aussie.

August 7, 2014 at 1:55 am #1169629Up::0I suggest posting a job on Odesk or Elance.
Chances are you’ll find someone great in Romania – who can get the job done in no time, at a very low cost. (But if you can find someone on-shore, that’s obviously a better way to go)
All the best
August 7, 2014 at 1:51 am #1169718Up::0Hey there,
Have you checked out GraphicRiver?
They’ve got some great brochure templates (reasonably prices) that are pre-setup with all settings ready for print. You could even reach out to the template designers, and ask them to assist you in ensuring the files are all ready for print.
All the best with it.
Cheers!
August 4, 2014 at 12:30 pm #1168707Up::0Hi Chris,
Welcome aboard.
Nice portfolio you’ve got going there.
I noticed some of the work you’ve done for Monster, and Primo – have you done anything else in the way of product packaging, and display design?
All the best mate!
