Fiona, well done.
I have to admit the thing that shocks me the most about this new concept is the fact that you are invoicing 100% on commissioning.
Does this work? I mean is that the norm?
Really surprised. I would not part with more than 50% of my budget without seeing a tiny bit of evidence of your work….maybe I’m just a miserable old woman.and you’d get the last 50% when the whole job is finished. That’s how I operate with my marketing business.
I’d be interested to see if I’m the odd one on this one.May 7, 2010 at 8:24 am #1031001::
I do not mind the 2 columns you have- these are your main services and that’s fine but since your contact details for both are the same then put this in the middle (at the mo they appear on slightly uneven lines which is not very aesthetic.
Also I wonder why you have the little guy in the chair within a box? This is simply to display your accreditations- leave the box off as it attracts too much attention.
The box around the remote session button is good however.

I personally hate sentences which over use capitals.
Why caps on Solutions /customers/for/over and miss the years?
It either all words or no words.
Love the colours and the graphics- the information is succinct and well written.
Make sure the whole text is proof read again.

I agree networking is an important chunk of business development activities but seriously I’ve attended 10 events in the past 2 months and have met mostly financial planners and accountants!
Totally inappropriate for my business.
Ok, so some of the people I have met told me they would refer my business to their contacts but chances are this won’t generate much of any business.
So I’m going to be a little more selective in future about what I attend, and try to find out a little bit more abbout the group itself before I put my name down.

I would imagine all consultants will carry both. I’m in marketing and it just makes good sense to protect oneself.
The yearly fee is not that extravagant…plus if you ever want to pitvch for a trnder you’ll need this.

Hi, I have both PL and Prof I and both cost me under $2K. Again, go back to your broker and ask them for a quote. It might take them 3/4 days for them to get back to them, but it would be silly to miss such a nice contract opp just because you missed on insurance.
Good luck with it all.
