    Yep thats what it is,

Purchases are always made on emotion and then defended on logic…

    Kev

You have a point kev but it is important to make a purchase on the basis of market study and it should not be done with emotions otherwise it will become a big problem for you if your purchase will not worth.

Invest money in that area where you know that your money is worth otherwise dont without proper reference.

    Thanks

    Great thread!!!!

In general the only way to know if a buisness will succeed or fail is to sell actual product to customers. So I’m with the Sales Warlord on that one.

But, I agree with Emroy – it’s not always easy to get that product infront of potiential customers.

So, the end result is you have to at least talk to potiential customers with something as close as possible to the end product and get their reaction.

If it’s ladies fashion – then make some cloths and hire a stall at a local shopping mall and walk up to people and say you are doing research for “xyz fashion designers and wonder if you would look at some designs and answer some questions”.

Family and friends are great as well – but be careful as many won’t want to offend you and may say your idea is better then it really is – but it’s always worth bouncing your ideas around!

    good luck

    Hi Ray,

I am totally agree with you as, it is important to first know what is the foremost demands of the market and talking with the potential customers that what they actually feel about the products and what are the changes required that will beneficial to make the product more good and attractive.

Plan your strategy accordingly so that you will not find any difficulty while analyzing your market.

    thanks

It is totally depends on what you are actually providing through the E books as, I have not seen that there will be any issues regarding the insurance.

First of all you need to target the relevant field from where there is a chances of getting more response, then only it will be beneficial for you in getting more sales for the E books.

    thanks

I’ve just set up my own WordPress-powered personal blog (http://www.michaelhalligan.com.au). I did a lot of research and looking around before working it all out, but I found that most blogs look pretty unprofessional and that purchasing a ‘premium theme’ was the best option. I ended up going for one from Woothemes that cost me about $80 but i got 4 free pro-themes with it.

There’s not really any set standard for the regularity of blog posts. Some of the most influential bloggers in the world post daily, but I’d suggest 2-3 posts a fortnight will do you pretty well. Your content should always be pretty fresh and you post enough for people to continue to come back.

In terms of features, you want to be able to automatically block spam comments, have canonical URL’s (so search engines like your posts more). Most of the blogging packages offer the same basic set of features.

If your looking for someone to set it all up for you I can set up the blog on your domain (e.g. http://fletchertaxaccountants.com.au/blog/) with a premium-themed template that your staff can edit from anywhere with an internet connection. I’d set up the SPAM filter and the Search Engine plug-ins as well. Feel free to email me if your interested in having it all set up for you.

I am agree with you Mike as it is important to place a wordpress blog with all the Plug-ins installed, people around you are willing to know about your work and the services or the products you want to market.

Having a blog that highlights your services are to be updated regularly with some videos featuring the purpose of your profession, including your company’s work flow and some beneficial pdfs so that other can able to download it from there.

Now comes is choosing a theme for your blog as, the theme and the content for your blog should be very professional that simply reflects your brand and most of all the portfolio of your company which puts some credence, so that to get people interest on it.

There are certainly plenty of B2B people on here so I’m sure you’ll get a lot of responses. Obviously as a marketing consultancy we sell to businesses. Our marketing mix is made up of:

    • SEO – be there when they’re searching for what you do
    • Free Resources – eBooks, etc. so that we demonstrate our knowledge. Everyone loves free information
    • Cross-Promotion – we’re in the process of working with car & boat dealerships to offer their ABN-holding customers $1000 worth of consulting with each new car/boat sale. We gain direct exposure to our market
    • Networking – Council business events, networking events, etc.
    • Social Media – be active in forums such as this
    • DirectMail – we have a campaign coming up where we’re sending out an offer of a free Marketing Ideas eBook to 500 businesses around Melbourne
    • Word of Mouth – we have deliberate tactics that encourage spread of positive word of mouth from our clients and market

Between them we allow people to find us when they look for services like ours, and we find the market, giving them low-risk and emotionally appealing offers.

Hey Mike I really appreciate all the above points as, I am not a part of enagage marketing but really want to know about this as, I belongs to internet marketing and these points are like regular task or you can say is like a daily strategy that has to be implemented.

Networking, social media, SEO are the prior requirements in the business to make it lead.

I will look forward to get more stuffs related to engage marketing and it will be a pleasure for me Mike, if you put some points about this.

    Thanks!

I do believe that refferrals are always a one step ahead to get involved people as, through this it is easier for us to get such people who wants to involve in the business and accordingly you can turn them with respect to your work and their requirements as, it is very easy to get some but some time it gets tough to turm them as pretending and doing it are two different terms as far as business concerns.

It is all a game of getting something right for your business and for that you need to be very generous as, starting business is not that much easy and tough but to make it run like a horse is what essential and hard.

    Thanks!

According to me getting connected with some web sites that provides affilliate programs for your web site then I think it is much more beneficial for you in terms of earning resources and to drive traffic.

People are doing it just ot make money online through affiliation as, the affiliate web sites drive traffic to your web site via banner, pop up ads which let your website to get proper resources as, making web sites is of no use all it requires is to get some business out from it.

    Thanks!
