all my work is existing products so quotes are not much of a thing I need to track as it mainly sells X or Y

    but I have used

    • Microsoft Dynamics
    • SugarCRM
    • (trialled) Pipeline

checkout the features and see if it works for you. look for important things as well as most of my sales work is email updates not face to face so email integration is more important than physical location so landscaping suggestions could be a better fit. if your focus is face to face and scheduled appointments

none of these will work out of the box and I can not guarantee nor should you trust anyone who is going to state X will work forever due to always being around in the last Y years. so the real only way you can get them to work for you is to trial them, speak to the company it is going to take manhours so generate a list of suggestions call them to have them “sell” you. put your concerns to them and make sure you are agreeing to what you need not what they think you need.

    good luck in your search.

busy times and poor requests do reduce the amount of feedback over time. alas, there is nothing that is “will last the length of the business” as technology changes so will your needs so trying to avoid upgrading is just going to screw you over in the long term.

what do you need in a CRM, what do you want it to do as basic, how are you currently doing it and how will you get your existing details into that new system.

when you look at that information yourself you will find what to look for online without needing to have to even ask because you have already figured out what you want when you say CRM.

customer relationship manager or customer record manager.

would you use rusty bolts in your shed because you had in stock before providing it to the customer or would you use what is needed and functioning well with your product overall?

hmm, now if only ACCC could work against Shopify storefronts as every “drop shipper” seems to think it makes them seem legit if they mark 80% of the products as on sale.

I think you jumped the gun on this. Way to slow on the market any movement of your stock now is going to be paying through the nose to get customers to trust you over every other option at a cheaper value.

I don’t think it exists for every good story you will find 10 horrible ones you need to research, call and work out the cost / benefits of each option this can only really be done by looking at what you need, what you think you want and what needs to happen to have your office working.

with the internet you should be able to find enough answers for this without chasing the last good review in the sea of salty dissatisified customers.

all it takes is one kid dying on a loose part. and your budget is in the negative and you could be liable. I would not jump into anything aimed at kids, pets or cosmetics without confirming all the correct legal avenues and having a budget to work with on that project.

I guess the character in this story never existed and has moved onto other fantasies. . . .

also if I had someone who I was a client for airing my details like this I would also be removing them from my employ.

I prefer overseas freelancers, they are more expensive but they don’t give up like locals do. more saturation of “markets” just makes it harder for “customers” to find you. do not give people more directories to dig through they will just give up and stick with the bigger ones

yeah, the belief you think you know their books better than them kind of triggers me, you assume from the balance that x values could happen but do you know every expense and income for 6 months into the future?

no one is entitled to job keepers. it is for the business to choose if they can take on the risk and pay staff they don’t have money to pay but in this situation, I would not want them taking it any way they are out of jobs because the customer is not there no kids. so it makes sense not to use job keepers on this when students won’t be using canteens at all.

well, these days content management systems handle the “uploading” more often as your sites these days are less “static” but other than that sftp is your expected option. I would try checking if your server has any control panel to test if uploads work via the site control panel itself.

but yeah nothing here makes me think it is your client-side having the issue.

I would say Company B is right as funding and launching was all done as company B and if most of the site and everything has been redesigned your just someone who was a part of the initial first attempt in history but you are not the founder or co-founder of the company that is.

unless you can prove any IP in use that is pivotal to the companies success is your work alone. then yeah it just will look like someone who walked away but looking for their “cut” now it has had a small success.

starting a dropshipping store is not as easy as loading up Shopify subscription.

have products in mind. start finding customers. find your suppliers and sample products. figure out how your “worth it” to your customers. you won’t toss money at the first store you see on facebook ads.

so write and create a product, create sales pitches that you. yourself will buy than set up a site around that. try ordering your designs in bulk for the first few so you can try a little market store advertisement in the real world so actual “parents” can dislike your designs in person (ie read body language. what people look at and what they don’t)
