haha fair enough, Paul. I guess that’s one of the ‘potential’ benefits of Airtasker and similar sites – you can push toward the higher end of the price spectrum when time is of the essence for one-off jobs, which I’m sure must be pushing up the stats for these site results at this time of year. I appreciate that this muddies the waters of the…[Read more]

Hey @mediaman, a choice little side hustle you have going there. Bravo for securing regular work at such an insecure time for the gig economy; it sounds like you’ve provided a great service for them to hang on to you for 3 years.
I agree with Paul in that these economic times might be tougher than we think for anyone – rich or poor, depending o…[Read more]

Not-so-surprising news out this week, Aussie workers are forgoing their leave due to cost of living pressures, and while these studies are predominantly aimed at employees, it did make me wonder just how much time off solo business owners give themselves?
Have you set yourself a specific daily or weekly schedule for your business, so that you…[Read more]

Hey Soloists, I found this article on overcoming self-doubt and fear a great read from leadership coach and self-confessed introvert, Simon Moore.
It made me wonder just how many business owners actually identify as more introverted than extroverted? There must be plenty – we can’t all be the life of the party!
