The community organisation I work for had just moved to a new suburb. A couple of weeks in on a Thursday early afternoon – our side security gate snapped some hinges dropped off. Knowing that a new gate would bust our budget I googled hoping to find someone local who could have looked at the repairs. The first couple of phone calls to other tradies were disappointing ("you need a new gate, but we could come out sometime next week to have a look"). I then looked upon Eugene from its never too late handyman service. After I explained the damage situation, Eugene replied that he enjoyed the challenge. Big tick! Then realising it was a security issue for us he rearranged his day to come out and have a look the same afternoon. Another big tick! He arrived, looked at the damage, plant how it could be repaired most effectively and went out to pick up a couple of essentials.
