Who, or what, is your biggest inspiration?

Everyday people who simply persevere in what they do to achieve their dreams.

When did you know you wanted to start your own business?

At age 26 while recovering from a left Achilles tendon (i.e. broken ankle), when I had a lot of spare time to think.

What’s your proudest moment?

In business, winning our first tender contract. In life, getting married and having a child.

What’s the most enjoyable element of your work? And the least enjoyable?

Most enjoyable: Flexibility to schedule my own time – I see my targets and I know what needs to be done to get there. Least enjoyable: stress.

What’s the biggest challenge you face at work?

Every day is a challenge, keeping the momentum and staying on top in our industry.

What would your mum say is your greatest strength? And weakness?

Strength? Finding the smartest way to complete tasks and perseverance. Weakness? Despite my effort I still do not have any superhero powers of note.

What’s the most obscure business request you’ve ever had?

Sourcing thousands of rubber duckies for an event in Brisbane.

How did your school report describe you (in three words)?

Should perform better.

What’s your number one tip for overcoming procrastination?

Focus on your end result.

What inspires you most about your work?

My colleagues and never letting the team down.

What’s the cheapest, most effective bit of marketing you’ve ever done?

Without a doubt, networking.

If you could be any superhero, who would it be?

Captain America.
